Maintenance Mechanic – Keep Our Foundry Running Strong

Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry

Location: 838 S. 16th Street, Manitowoc, WI
Shift: Full-time |2nd shift Monday – Friday, 2 pm – 10 pm

This isn’t a desk job. It’s hands-on, boots-on, wrench-in-hand work. You’ll
be the person who keeps things running when others can’t—fixing,
fine-tuning, and making sure our foundry never misses a beat.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Jump in on emergency breakdowns to troubleshoot and repair mechanical,
electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems
Keep our machines humming with routine preventative maintenance
Handle installations, adjustments, and equipment upgrades
Use your brain and your hands—reading work orders, following manuals, and
using everything from wrenches to multimeters
Work in an environment that’s hot, gritty, and filled with moving
parts—just how you like it
Support your crew and get the job done right the first time

What You Bring to the Table:

A solid background in industrial maintenance—foundry experience is a big
plus
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting chops
The ability to work in tight spots, hot areas, and physically demanding
situations
Comfort working on ladders, with overhead tasks, and lifting up to 60 lbs
A strong work ethic, common sense, and a team-first attitude
