Opportunity

Responsible for the project management, scope consultion, and execution of technical communicion requirements for kitchen and bh products – media of deliverables to include publicions, labels and packaging, and animions.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Exhibits strong project leadership in the planning, scheduling, organizing, and team implemention of TechComm deliverables; communices and negoties to appropriely apportion time and other resources.
•  Serves as the primary TechComm representive to product development teams for technical content and literure requirements for assigned projects.
• Understands regional and business requirements and determines project scope of Technical Communicion deliverables; owns the deliverable timing and execution.
• Has initial development and quality responsibility for technical product literure as assigned – covering product informion, installion, use, and/or servicing.
• Represents department in mters of technical content and usability of publicions. Recommends and supports maintenance of technical communicion requirements, standards, and processes for all publicion products.
• Contributes to the advancement of Technical Communicion discipline/processes and stregic project execution.
• Solicits from and contributes to profession through external activities.
• Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned.

Skills/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communicions, or other technical discipline along with strong technical writing background
• At least 4+ years of technical writing experience for product and/or software
• Computer aptitude and demonstred writing proficiency. Typing skills are essential for productivity.
• Demonstred visualizion skills – the ability to transle between two- and three-dimensional da views
• Experience authoring within a tagged language
• Authoring experience in XML/DITA
• Experience authoring for reuse in a CMS environment
• Mechanical aptitude, diagnostic skills, and ability to read drawings
• Working proficiency with dabase use and excel spreadsheets
• Self-motived with the ability to manage multiple projects
• Proven cross-functional, interpersonal communicion skills
• Proficiency in managing complex projects and ability to adapt to changing priorities

The specific salary offered to a candide may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candide’s experience, their educion, and the work locion.
